Intelligent distribution monitoring and management system based on PROFIBUS protocol

1. Introduction

2. System composition

based on PROFIBUS, the power management and power monitoring system can be divided into three layers: field equipment layer, PLC data processing layer and operation monitoring layer. The typical system architecture diagram is shown in the figure below

2.1 field control layer

the field control layer is composed of field intelligent devices, field intelligent instruments, remote i/o and network devices. At the field device level, intelligent line protection equipment with communication function, motor drive control equipment and ET200S data acquisition and control device are integrated through PROFIBUS bus. For example, Siemens' soft starter and frequency converter, ankerui's ACR series multi-function can't just look at the bag material network instrument, ACR series harmonic instrument and ard series intelligent motor protector

2.2 PLC data processing layer

plc data processing layer is located between the field equipment layer and the operation monitoring center layer, which mainly completes the network connection conversion and information processing and exchange between the upper and lower layers. Through the PROFIBUS field bus, the collected data is transmitted to the PLC data processing layer for standardized preprocessing. The processed data corresponds to the time scale and can be stored in the data buffer for one week. The data obtained and processed by PLC are selectively uploaded to the control center to facilitate centralized monitoring of on-site working condition information; At the same time, the remote control and remote adjustment information from the control center is sent to all kinds of intelligent devices and instruments at the field equipment level. Through configuration programming, PLC can automatically control the intelligent devices in the field device layer

2.3 operation monitoring layer

the operation monitoring layer is composed of high-speed industrial Ethernet and workstations or display operation stations connected to the bus for monitoring tasks, engineer stations, and plc/dcs controllers. The monitoring center software has a friendly man-machine interface developed by acrel-3000 power monitoring configuration software. The real-time working condition information of power distribution is displayed in curves, tables and parameterized data, as well as the data of the whole system. The system saves and archives important information, and provides flexible and rich report functions. Users can flexibly customize reports according to actual needs

3. System function

based on PROFIBUS power management and power monitoring system, the upper computer software adopts acrel-3000 power monitoring configuration software. Through the configuration of the software, the real-time display of all electrical parameters can be realized on the upper computer interface, such as current, voltage, active power, reactive power, electric energy, etc

acrel-3000 can realize the drawing of real-time operation curve and historical trend curve of main power parameters

in addition, acrel-3000 also has powerful alarm function, query function, printing function, etc

through the acrel-3000 interface, the network parameters of PROFIBUS slave stations can also be collected and displayed, such as bus parameters, slave station status, master station mode, watchdog, configuration information and slave station diagnostic data. It also plays a very convenient guiding role in the overhaul and maintenance of the system

4. Conclusion

the system uses Siemens PLC as the first-class master station, and the industrial control computer installed with CP5611 communication board as the second-class master station. The debugging results show that the master station of the upper computer can collect data from each power monitoring instrument in turn according to the time interval of 0.5s, and the communication is good. According to the group method provided by the system, it can not only integrate the industrial automation control system with the power management and power monitoring system, but also have the intelligent management of the fieldbus system, which is highly progressiveness, and can also save the hardware cost
