Evonik raised the price of PMMA molding products
from October 1, 2016, Evonik industrial group's functional materials business segment will raise the price of PMMA molding products worldwide. PMMA molding products are sold in the market under the brand of Plexiglas (acrylite in the Americas), while modified PMMA molding products are sold under the brands of pleximid and XT polymers (acrymid in the Americas). Within the scope allowed by the existing contract and based on the type of product, the company will raise the price by 5%
